Halden

The system of record for the back office of a private credit fund.

Halden replaces the patchwork of spreadsheets, shared inboxes, and PDF attachments that private credit managers have historically used to administer loans, distributions, and investor reporting. The product is built around a single source of record for every loan in a fund, and a set of disciplined workflows on top of it.

Halden is used by sixteen funds in the United States and Europe, with assets ranging from a few hundred million to several billion dollars. The product covers origination, servicing, fund accounting, and LP reporting—pieces of work that have, until recently, been split across three or four separate vendors and a great deal of human glue.

We led Halden's seed round in 2019 and have invested in every round since. The company is profitable, growing carefully, and run by the founders who started it.
