Specialty flocculants and corrosion inhibitors for water systems.
Linde produces specialty flocculants, corrosion inhibitors, and scale-control chemistries for municipal water authorities and industrial customers. The product line is narrow on purpose. The business makes a small number of chemistries very well, and has done so for nineteen years.
Linde operates two plants in northern Ohio and a third, smaller plant in Saxony-Anhalt that serves the European utilities market. Both American plants are unionized and have been since founding. The business has not had a major work stoppage in its history.
Linde has been part of the Barlow portfolio since 2017 and is run by the same management team that has operated it since.
