Meridian Yards

Dispatch, yard, and gate operations for inland container terminals.

Meridian is the dispatch, yard, and gate-operations layer for inland container terminals. The product replaces the hand-written manifests, two-way radio dispatch, and disconnected spreadsheets that most river and lake terminals have used since the 1980s.

The team has spent five years on the docks. The product is built by people who have ridden in the cabs of yard trucks at three in the morning, watched the gate clerks reconcile their stacks of paper at shift change, and gone home with diesel on their boots. That has shown up in the software.

Meridian operates at terminals along the Mississippi, the Ohio, and the Great Lakes. We invested at the Series A in 2021.
